We run regular workshops on a wide range of gardening related topics.

Workshops include:

  • Fruit tree pruning and edible gardens.
  • Vegetable gardening
  • Bees
  • Pruning around the garden
  • Compost and Worm Farms
  • Planting in pots
  • Plus we do guided garden walks, school tours
  • Children's programs

Fruit Tree Pruning - Sunday 12th June 2016 | 9am - 11am

Come and learn from the local gardening guru, Horticulturist and Nurseryman, David Bayly as he shares his pruning secrets in our sculpture gardens orchard. Enjoy a complimentary hot drink in The Allotment Cafe after the workshop.

Fermenting Workshop - Saturday 25th June 2016 | 1pm - 3pm

Run by Philippa Nielsen - https://www.facebook.com/makeyourownculture/. Join the fermenting revolution! Bring your ingredients and leave with sauerkraut. Space is limited so sign up quick! Enjoy a complimentary hot drink in The Allotment Cafe after the workshop.

Bread Making - Sunday 10th July 2016 | 10am - 12pm

Come and learn the basics of breadmaking with Chrissie Denne. Bring your equipment and we will provide the ingredients so you can leave with a delicious freshly baked loaf cooked in our woodfired pizza oven!
